Is Your Competition Wardrobe.. Competition Ready?
As we welcome a new year, the team have already been sharing their plans and riding goals, and if yours involves heading out to competitions, you might want to review your competition wardrobe! Here are our five tips for getting your competition wardrobe in top shape!
Tight Fit
If you haven't worn your rider competition wear for a few months or years, you need to try it on well ahead of any competition outings planned. Trying on and carefully checking over your competition wear will allow you to check for any wear or tear. Either mend or upgrade to items that fit you and are comfortable to wear in the saddle. The last thing you want is riding down the centre line, thinking about how uncomfortable and tight your waistband on your breeches are! You might be able to move the buttons over on your jacket to allow for some extra room, but if your jacket is very tight all over, it will look ugly and be very distracting and restrictive when riding. Even just replacing your breeches with a pair with great four-way stretch like our Shaper Breeches or Ultimo Breeches will have you feeling more comfortable and confident in the saddle.
Tied Up
If you're all fingers and thumbs when it comes to tying your stock on competition mornings, you could always try practising at home more often! Alternatively, our Designer Liz has created a beautiful collection of Ready Tied Stocks, so you can simply velcro and go! Choose one with bling, and you don't even have to think about searching for that long lost stock pin!
Get Shirty
If you're looking for competition shirts that look for the summer months ahead, our range of stylish competition shirts adds a touch of pretty with practicality. Finally back in stock (but not for long), we have our beautiful, award-winning Florence Shirt, and for stylish youngsters, our Junior Bella Competition Shirt is back in too!
Upscale Your Bling
Everyone loves a little bling! If you want to add some sparkle to your competition outfit, you don't need to send a million dollars to look a million dollars! Our collection of stock pins features some beautiful gemstones to dazzle the judges this coming season.
